Taekwondo Tots

Taekwondo TOTS is our beginner martial arts programme specially designed for children aged 4–6 years. This structured and engaging class introduces young students to the official Total Taekwondo syllabus, aligned with World Taekwondo standards.
Unlike traditional pre-martial arts programmes, Taekwondo TOTS students work towards recognised grades from the very beginning. Students progress through the official belt system

-
Confidence
-
Listening skills
-
Self-discipline
-
Respect for others
-
Social skills
-
Resilience
Our goal is to create a positive first experience in martial arts while laying strong foundations for long-term success in Taekwondo and beyond.

Progression
Progression in Taekwondo TOTS is structured, motivating and earned through effort and development.

In between each grading, students work towards award stripes that are added to their belt. Each stripe represents a mastered skill from our syllabus, such as basics, kicking, fitness, pad work, poomsae or self-defence. These stripes give children regular goals to aim for and help build confidence step by step.
Every 3–4 months, we host a formal grading where students are assessed in front of a panel of Masters. During this grading, students demonstrate their knowledge, technique, discipline and understanding of Taekwondo appropriate to their level.

Gradings are not automatic passes. Students must show a sufficient understanding of Taekwondo for their grade and meet the required standard in order to progress. This ensures that every belt earned is meaningful and reflects genuine development.

Our grading system teaches children the value of commitment, preparation and perseverance — helping them understand that progress is achieved through effort and dedication.
