Unveiling Total Taekwondo: A Community Feedback Journey

Total Taekwondo recently conducted a comprehensive survey to gather feedback from our valued participants. The responses reflect a high level of satisfaction overall, along with valuable insights into areas for improvement and specific preferences.


Key Findings:

Lesson Content Satisfaction:

  • 91.5% of respondents reported being fully satisfied with Total Taekwondo lesson content.

  • 8.5% provided a 4/5 rating.


Value for Money:

  • 88.5% find Total Taekwondo to be good value for money.

  • 11.5% expressed dissatisfaction in this regard.

   

Grading Value for Money:

  • 96% consider Total Taekwondo gradings to be good value for money.

  • 3.*% indicated dissatisfaction.

Communication with Coaches:

  • 76% of respondents felt comfortable speaking to coaches.

  • 23.1% reported difficulty in approaching coaches.


Recommendation:

  • 100% of respondents would recommend Total Taekwondo to others.

  • Clarity around Grading Requirements

  • Potential for Classes to Grow Too Large

  • Disruption from Loud Parents during Classes

  • Need for More Experienced Coaches

  • Request for More Accessible Events

  • Concerns About Junior Coaches Awarding Stripes


Recommendations and Next Steps:


Addressing Concerns:

  • Initiate clearer communication on grading requirements to address the identified concerns.

  • Implement strategies to manage class sizes and ensure a favourable coach-to-student ratio.

  • Consider introducing guidelines to address disruptive behaviour during classes.

  • Introduction of a PARANT Hand book in PDF form. Addressing Discipline, Gradin requirements, Skills for each grade and requirements and tips on how to support your child in sport.


Staffing and Training:

  • Evaluate the coaching team and consider recruitment or additional training for experienced coaches.

  • Review the concerns raised about junior coaches and establish clear guidelines for stripe awarding, Junior coaches will now no longer be awarding stripes to ninjas and the Lead Coach will have to see and approve the stripes.

Events Planning:

  • Explore opportunities to enhance the events calendar, providing more accessible options for all participants.


Communication Channels:

  • Enhance channels for participants to express concerns or suggestions, fostering an open and collaborative environment.


Holidays Operation:

  • Acknowledge the concern expressed about closure during school holidays. WE WILL NOT BE CLOSING OVER HALF TERMS!


Conclusion:


Total Taekwondo values the feedback received and is committed to continuous improvement. The positive responses affirm our dedication to providing a quality and enjoyable Taekwondo experience. We will actively address concerns and work towards creating an even better Total Taekwondo community.
